Physical Fitness Test for Elected Office

There should be a physical fitness test to hold office, probably just the same test that is used for the army or something like that. People have to run 5 mi at at least a 9-minute per mile pace, do at least 10 push-ups in 2 minutes, do 10 pull-ups in 2 minutes.

Many studies have shown physical fitness to be strongly correlated to mental and emotional health. A physical fitness test is much easier to be fair and accurate with than a separate mental and emotional test as well. Many of the people who may have the most intellectual raw horsepower make many of the stupidest actual decisions in real life.

There is a reason that corrupt people in movies and TV and cartoons are generally portrayed as obese. Art mimics life lol.

Obama = the best president in living memory and the most physically fit. Trump = the worst president in living memory and the least physically fit.

If you can’t make good decisions about your own body, why should we trust you to make good decisions about the body politic?
