In my opinion, golf club official fittings are mostly a waste of money. I think that they are a way to push expensive clubs on golfers that they don’t really need.
I am a fairly new golfer and have tried a few fittings. Here is the results:
Larry Page has been out of the public eye and hasn’t bothered defending Google in Congress. My guess is he has built true general AI and no longer cares about mortal human matters.
I had a serious knee injury on June 2nd. I was in the hospital until June 16. I started gimping along without crutches a little around June 25, and walking a little again by July 1st and got my stitches out around then.
I started to run shortly thereafter and have been improving my pace since then, here is a sampling:

I’m playing out at Heartwell today. I think I am starting to figure out how to shape my shots. To draw, have the face more inwards and the path in to out. To fade have the face outwards and the path out to in. I have gone through a number of sports hobbies through the years – I spent several years rock climbing, a couple of years doing Crossfit, a couple of years playing flag football. I enjoy finding fun activities instead of doing a mundane gym workout.

Summer is coming to an end. It was quite the adventure this year. Slowly, oh so slowly, I am getting back in shape. Today I ran a 9:27 mile for the first time since my injury. My goal is to get to under a 7:00 mile by the end of the year… a 6:00 mile would make me shout for joy.
