My political philosophy has evolved based upon new information and my life experiences. If you see struck out lines, those are ideas that I no longer support.

Insurance companies are often used as the punching bag for healthcare costs. In reality, insurance companies are just a payment method for the true cost – enormously expensive doctors. Insurance companies are portrayed as having crazy profits, but in reality the insurance company Cigna has a profit margin of 6%.

Rent Control Is Severely Misguided

I own no rental properties and have long been a tenant myself.

The main driver of high rents is simple supply and demand. If you have lots of people who need to rent apartments, and only a few apartments then prices will rise.

Taxes Are The Problem, Not Capitalism

Taxing income prevents creative entrepreneurs from rapidly stockpiling enough wealth to change the world.

If we taxed wealth instead of income, people who inherited or no longer contributed to building new things would see their stockpiles rapidly eaten away. Tax And Voting Records Should be Public

To avoid the voting fraud where millions of fake or dead voters vote, all voting records should be public.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

To avoid tax fraud where people earning hundreds of millions of dollars pay zero taxes, all tax records should be public.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

This will allow our smart people to improve our system, rather than force them to try to game it.
