All of these “solutions” address the symptoms like depressed farmers rather than the root problem: low profitability. Low profits are because farmers produce commodity goods whose price is set by the lowest cost producers we import from. No alcohol

I am 3 years into no alcohol and had greatly reduced my drinking in the ten years prior. What worked for me was writing down the number of drinks I had each day, and the number of days without a drink. It’s fun to watch a streak build up!

How to sell land / property

  • Do not use a real estate agent, or if you do, do not offer the listing agent more than 1%. I have videos and articles on Joelx and Youtube on how to do it yourself. Offer a buyer’s agent 2%.
  • Start with a quite high price versus comparables. Use Zillow or similar apps to look at sales prices over the last few years within the area to get a feel for what stuff sells for.

Language decides who wins issues

The language used to describe an issue often determines who gets to decide that issue.

If government racism was described that way instead of as affirmative action or reparations or Indian affairs, everyone would be treated equally.
