I am 3 years into no alcohol and had greatly reduced my drinking in the ten years prior. What worked for me was writing down the number of drinks I had each day, and the number of days without a drink. It’s fun to watch a streak build up!
The language used to describe an issue often determines who gets to decide that issue.
If government racism was described that way instead of as affirmative action or reparations or Indian affairs, everyone would be treated equally.
