Question: Should evil people die? If you could go back in time to 1933 and kill Hitler, would you?
Many of us may lean towards saying yes.
Our great grandparents fought a war where many of them lost their lives killing fascists. Killing millions of people who lived in fascist nations. I think this is seen as widely acceptable in America.
So what happens when one party starts saying things like, “Republicans are fascists. The right half of the nation is evil. Elon Musk is a threat to democracy.”?
A lot of us might see this as hyperbole and an attempt to get out the vote.
But many people see it as calls to violence… When you call someone you disagree with evil or say that they are a fascist for their ideas, you are saying they deserve to die.
It is illegal to say “Republicans deserve to die”, but the left has found a way around those laws… They say, “Republicans are fascists and a threat to democracy”.
Tyler Robinson, and many other misguided people, hear those calls for violence and sometimes act.
Leaders from the left; Newsom, Ferguson, AOC, etc MUST stop using hateful language that invites violence like saying the right is evil, Trump is a dictator or Musk is a fascist or Republicans are racists or any of those other insults they say in order to rally their base.
The left can no longer come out and make these generic statements condemning political violence, then the next day say the other side is evil and must be stopped. Hypocrisy at best, partially veiled incitement to murder at worst.
