Car Accident Cause Statistics and Risk Factors

I did some research this morning on car accident risk factors and cause statistics.  There are several factors that all interplay with each other – basically if you do one, you increase your rate of car accidents but if you do two you multiply your risk levels of getting into a car accident.

The car accident risk factors to be most aware of are:

  • Alcohol consumption
  • Being under 25 years old
  • Speeding
  • Distracted driving (phone call, texting, people in car, GPS, radio)
  • Running a red light or stop sign
  • Driving at night

Mechanical factors include:

  • Vehicle defects
  • Potholes
  • Ice or snow
  • Tire blowouts
  • Fog

On the last play of the game McVerry got a great rebound and gave it to me and I chucked it downcourt to Hugo who did not have enough time to get a shot off.

Caring for Team Members

As the owner of my company, it has become increasingly clear to me that I absolutely must put caring for my team members over any other business objectives and goals. I have to rely on my team and trust them to do what is right for Coalition and the only way I can possibly be able to do that is to absolutely do the same for them.… read more “Caring for Team Members”

Below are my 8 favorite Windows 8 keyboard shortcuts / hotkeys to use:

  1. Windows key + M minimizes everything on your desktop so you can see the background.
  2. Windows key + Shift + M restores all the windows you just minimized above (but not ones individually minimized beforehand).
  3. Windows key + E opens the windows explorer for quick access to files and folders on your computer.
