I Investigated Minnesota’s Billion Dollar Fraud Scandal

The DYCF currently only asks daycares to submit their own records… Basically just asking, “Did you commit fraud?”

We need several random audits a year where an auditor shows up at a daycare, looks at the records and makes sure the records that day match the kids in the daycare.

Or better yet, don’t have the government involved at all in funding daycares. Give the money to parents for having kids and they can use it for daycare if they wish or for caring for their own kids if they wish.
