Rent or own

If you rent or own an apartment or a house, should you have the right to choose who comes in and who has to stay out?

Should it just be you and guests you invite in and others you ask to be your roommate?

Or should the government decide this?
Or should just anyone be able to come in and out and take your stuff? If anyone can come in, you will soon have nothing right?
Think of your home as an analogy for your country and immigration. Immigration is like having guests in your house – it should only be people you actually invite. If someone illegally breaks into your house, they should not be allowed to stay. If someone illegally breaks into your country, they should not get your stuff for free or soon you will have nothing.
Immigration is wonderful when it is legal and controlled, like a guest or roommate you want. Immigration is terrible when it is illegal, like a home invasion.
