I feel sorry for teenagers. when i was a teenager i would have spent my whole life watching these…
You have nothing better to do at that age…
I think that the pandemic destroyed traditional entertainment… no new movies or shows. this is enabling young influencers on tiktok and similar platforms to explode in popularity..
We are going to have a very hard time keeping our kids off this… this is incredibly addicting even for a motivated adult with much better things to do…
I was not interested in Twitter for years… eventually some of the business / finance / politics caught my interest and then I would get sucked in for hours. My very first visit to Tiktok resulted in me sucked in very hard for a long period… Scary.
