Great story about women in Ukraine who were surrogate mothers when Russia invaded.
Laurel and I just had a family friend be our surrogate, so we especially understand.
The parents in this story who did not go into Ukraine to get their babies are cowards. I would probably leave Laurel behind with our kids, but an intended parent owes the surrogate and his own baby to do everything to be there for the birth. These parents should have ponied up more money to move the surrogate’s entire family so they wouldn’t have to stress and worry.
