The guy is a criminal with a long record of assaults you can read about on his Wikipedia. He should face charges and if convicted, serve time. Releasing him just means he will think he is invincible and will commit more and worse crimes in the future.

Griffin is now 9 pounds 8 ounces, Kate is 7 pounds 10 ounces and they still are not even to 40 weeks yet! Big babies 🙂

It is hard to get sleep with twins, especially for Laurel. She has to pump (30 minutes) every three hours, then bottle feed each (30-70 minutes each). Doesn’t leave much sleep time.

Every interaction I have had with the court system has been massively wasteful of everyone’s time involved. I have done a few small claims cases, a couple civil cases, and now am a witness to a criminal case. It’s insane how wasteful the system is.

I love these two little ones. I want to treasure Evey minute with them, even when we are tired. I want to never forget that the day will one day come when I will last pick them up and hold them and that I will never know when that is.

Today ended our 52 days in the NICU, plus 2 days prior for Laurel in the hospital. The LB Memorial NICU was fantastic, the doctors and nurses were wonderful.
