Elizabeth Warren announced her candidacy for President and made breaking up tech companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple a core plank of her platform.

Tech companies have tons of competition and don’t need to be broken up. Warren’s ideas on Apple especially are moronic. Boeing’s CEO and Board of Directors should be personally financially liable for the problems with the 737-800 max.

I think this should hold true for all companies CEOs and Boards… You would see a far better world if that happened. They also should not be allowed to buy indemnity insurance.

I hadn’t thought about this before, but it’s a big problem we need to work on.

I like the EU’s idea of pushing disposal costs to the point of purchase. Or perhaps allowing more people to migrate to the US to help do low wage jobs like sorting recycling.

The SEC rightfully gave hard pushback on Elon Musk for tweeting market moving news incorrectly.

However, the SEC needs to realize that Elon Musk is a modern day Edison or Newton or Einstein and we need to give him and his businesses maximum possible leeway to achieve their goals. Taking humans to space, improving batteries, building electric cars, and building cheap tunnels are enormously important to humanity’s future.
