Terrible News- Google Reader is Shutting Down!
Bad news! Google Reader is shutting down. I have used Google Reader for five years to keep track of reading my favorite blogs and websites. Now I will have to find a competing RSS reader. Ugh.
Udacity – I love online education!
I am halfway through my first full course on Udacity.com and am loving it!!! I am adding python to my repertoire of programming languages which at this point includes c#, PHP and JavaScript. I love learning new things especially practical tools I can put to use quickly!
Hackers
We’ve had a couple of our client’s sites hacked recently. Extremely frustrating and tough to clean out. One was an old install of WordPress, but another one was a newly launched site. Super annoying to deal with, but we have to clean it all out and reinstall for the clients. Is anyone else seeing an increase in site hacks?

Maurice Taylor of Titan International: My SuperHero
Maurice Taylor, the CEO of a major tire manufacturer- Titan International- finally came out with what everyone thinks about the French labor unions. He published an awesome letter in a French daily saying the following:
- French workers work only 3 hours a day
- He would be stupid to take over a Goodyear Tire factory going out of business because the “French workforce gets paid high wages but only works three hours.
