I wrote a fairly innocuous piece about justice system reform and was banned by Reddit for it. Here is the text of the post:

I would advocate for a complete reform of our criminal justice system to return to far faster trials with simpler and faster appeals. Returning much harsher penalties with long jail sentences and the death penalty as an option would remove repeat offenders from society. Most crimes are committed by repeat offenders. Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent.
Reddit itself, not a subreddit, gave me a ban for this post for supposedly “threatening violence”. Reddit’s owners will stretch any of its content moderation policies to enforce its far left views. Several years ago, the site permanently banned Donald Trump and Republicans from the site as well. It is shocking that a mainstream site that tries to use Section 230 of the CDA to shield it from liability does this. Reddit should be shut down.
I have repeatedly called Reddit’s ownership far left before and this is why: censorship of any viewpoints other than those that are held by the far left such as support for Communism, defunding the police, and releasing criminals into society.
