I asked my friend Ryan, who serves in the Air Force and used to fly F16s, to explain Grandpa’s service records I obtained. Grandpa had volunteered to be a Forward Air Controller, one of the most dangerous jobs in Vietnam and flew 125 missions and received 4 Air Medals for his courageous work. Pretty interesting read!
