Probably one of the most unfortunately named public parks in the United States, Big Bone Lick State Park is the “birthplace of American vertebrate paleontology”.
I wouldn’t mind paying a visit to BIg Bone Lick State Park sometime… who wants to join me?
I found the following art by Tim Nobel and Sue Webster to be really creative and pretty. I haven’t seen anything like it before. They take garbage and shape it into a specific form and have a bright light pointed at it so the trash creates interesting shadows. Nobel & Webster’s art though is probably better appreciated in a picture rather than in actual life… less smelly ;).
Have you ever seen wannabe pro photographers getting into really strange bodily contortions in order to take the “ultimate picture”? Yeah, they are pretty dorky, but not as dorky as these funny picture taking poses in the photos below:
