When I was growing up, home schoolers had a reputation as weird, socially awkward kids whose parents were probably overly religious.

I think the key fix to education would be switching from assigned public schools to a voucher system, where the money follows the student wherever they choose to go. Then you could have poor kids going to elite private schools. The current system is only in place at the behest of overly powerful teachers and administrator unions that care more about their jobs than kids welfare.… read more “Education System”
