I like the idea here on trickle up economics… but execution needs to reduce government regulation and interference and encourage free market competition (including allowing bad big companies to fail).

It is foolish in the extreme that cars don’t have their own version of a black box. This could be as simple as a dash cam and the engine / airbags computer. Recordings from each could be stored in a thumb drive hidden under a seat. Police and insurance companies would have the right to read these.
