I saw an article on ESPN about Michigan State basketball coach who yells at kids who bring him in well over $4m a year.
The NCAA is basically just a monopoly- kids are not allowed to go to the NBA without participating for a year and risking injury which would ruin their potential earnings for life. This feeds enormously high salaries for college coaches and their associated staffs.
Most universities in most other regions of the world do not do athletics like our colleges do as it is simply exploitation of kids who don’t know any better.
The NCAA should be required to pay kids at least as much as it’s coaches make.
