A sample of the life of an entrepreneur:

I have worked 126 hours over the last 12 days. This is on the conservative side as this is time spent in my chair at my desk or in meetings.

We had our management retreat last weekend and got a ton of work done. We met all day Saturday and Sunday – about 7-8 hours of meeting each day. We had fun though too since we drove down to San Diego and went to a Padres game and a nice dinner.

Due to a lack of customer knowledge (because customers don’t get the direct bills, insurance companies do which just spread cost out over time), the American health care system is very badly broken. Read about this guys $68,000 acl surgery including $376 per minute hospital room.

I am 29, Jordan is 27, Justin is 25, and Josh is 19.

Combined we have 100 years of life between us.

I think this deserves some sort of celebration but I am not sure what. Ideas?

Josh and I went rock climbing over Memorial Day weekend to Bishop and Alabama Hills. We stayed in Tuttle Creek Campground. Evan Goodman and Tolga came too along with two older ladies one who had kids and also Evan’s friend Kristen. We climbed Shark’s fin (three 5.7s) and movie wall (5.7, 5.9, 5.10a). After Bay to Breakers got boring for me around 1:30pm, I separated from the main group and ran three miles to Planet Granite so I could do some rock climbing. I attended the Bay to Breakers event today in San Francisco with my group of friends. We went as the Street Fighter video game from the 90s and I was Sagat. Pretty fun event with great weather.

Our dog monster is sick because she ate chocolate and that can cause kidney failure in dogs. Frida is in the hospital now. She should be okay because we pumped her stomach within an hour but she still has elevated levels of bad stiff in her blood. She is in the hospital for three days to try to clean out her kidneys.… read more “Monster”
