A long time ago, I came up with an algorithm that gives you your search reputation in an easy to understand metric much like your credit score. ‚ Basically it factors in the importance of each position in the search engines, the sentiment scoring of each webpage, and the market share of each search engine to give you a number between 0 and 500 that tells you how people view you online. ‚ The true power of this metric appears when you apply it over time. ‚ It enables individuals, companies and brands to easily track their search engine reputation and the reputation of their competitors/friends. ‚
Within the next month, I will be launching the beta version of a public website that will allow you to find out what your TVI score is on the fly or pay us to track it over time and compare it to others.
