Henry Ford’s autobiography is jam packed with brilliant ideas so far:
Give the customer the best possible deal. Every year Henry Ford reduced prices on vehicles.
Pay employees more. Henry Ford paid double the going average wage.
Focus intensely. Henry Ford only built one car: the Model T and tried to make it as simple, reliable, and inexpensive as he could.
Put your innovation into improving manufacturing rather than changing your product.
Private equity investors destroy businesses. He had a car company prior to Ford but the short term profit obsession of the investors caused it to operate poorly. He owned his whole company.
