Judging a person based on their race is wrong. It’s wrong whether this is George Washington keeping a person as a slave, or if it is Joe Biden (who I voted for) hiring someone because of their race and gender.
The best person should be hired for any given job based on their merits. Imagine an NBA that was forced to hire 60% white people solely to meet racial (racist) quotas.
Two wrongs don’t make a right. Bringing new racism to try to correct for old racism only validates racism as a tool that others can use… It may be used to your advantage sometimes, but also can be used against you. Oppose racism in all of its forms.
