My first client I had on my own actually was a former client of my old agency. My old agency, Visible Technologies, had decided to fire this client, CaptainCookResorts.com for being too small. I asked my boss if I could continue to service this client on my own time. He checked with our upper management, and they approved. I built them up to be #1 for “Waikiki vacation rentals”. They worked with me for six years, then cancelled when they were building their new site. They are now #3 for “Waikiki vacation rentals”. I should email them and see how they are doing!
