The federal government has been shut down. Government employee unions love it because they get a long vacation and will get full back pay when they return.

Madness

It is madness to require a $20 per hour minimum wage, then allow countries using slave labor to import their goods here without tariffs.

It is madness to pass environmental regulations here, then allow countries with unlimited strip mines and toxic lakes to import their goods without tariffs.

Our businesses will go bankrupt and there will be no jobs or industry here.

911 Failure

Basically, a Washington DC firefighter named Zeek was robbed at gunpoint by a young man named Marcellus. Marcellus shot Zeek and fled. Private equity

Private equity is generally a pretty bad deal. It is run by big ego “high finance” guys who borrow tons of government money, then buy businesses. They try to goose the businesses by cutting expenses, usually muscle, and by destroying a businesses good reputation. The system is designed to keep us slaving away. Even for those of us who “escape” it a bit, that can only be temporary before it sucks us or our progeny back in.
