All American Budweiser Beer Now Belgian

Anheuser-Busch, the giant American beer brewer, has agreed to sell itself to InBev, the even larger European brewer, for $70/share.

The major American breweries have all been sold off to foreign companies. Miller was sold to SAB (South African Breweries) in 1999 and Coors was sold to Molson of Canada in 2005, which in turn was merged with SAB-Miller.

Guess no one can complain anymore that American beer tastes like yellow pee water… the only “American” brewers left are the countless tasty microbrews.
