Comedy Central Knuckles Under on South Park Muhammad Episode

South Park’s new episode was altered without permission by the show’s creator’s Parker & Stone after threats by Islamic groups. A message on SouthParkStudios.com read:

“We apologize that South Park Studios cannot stream episode 201 at this time. After we delivered the show, and prior to broadcast, comedy central placed numerous additional audio bleeps throughout the episode.… read more “Comedy Central Knuckles Under on South Park Muhammad Episode”

The Day I Became a Man

Can you pinpoint the day you lost your childhood innocence and became a man?

I can. June 29, 1999. I was 15 years old.

The day was pretty standard for that summer- my parents fighting each other and me being a cranky teenager and getting in fights with them too.  I was stuck in that sweltering hot house all summer, but in the outside world the Seattle Mariners played their last game in the old Kingdome the day before.  … read more “The Day I Became a Man”

Windows Azure: Super Confusing

Microsoft had me really excited about their new Windows Azure product: it is supposed to be easy to use cloud based hosting & databases.  Unfortunately, their user interface possibly has the worst design I’ve ever seen… and I’ve been a GoDaddy customer for four years lol.  The system makes no sense and has poor support.  I am about to say screw Windows Azure, and switch to GoGrid or another non-Microsoft solution.

South Park Creators Threatened by Muslims

The creators of South Park have now been threatened with violence & death by several Muslim groups for depicting Mohammed dressed up in a bear costume in the last episode and hinting at seeing more of him in the next episode.

Should Comedy Central declare pre-emptory jihad on Islam?

Tales

I have had quite a few happy & sad tales during my short lifetime.  I will be publishing a few of the interesting ones over the next week or so.

  2. Ability to manage multiple levels of employees easily
  3. Unique & fun scoring system that will make tracking & comparing productivity easy.

Soon I will publish some screenshots and logos of what the application will look like.

The Friendless

The stories you hear about the sons and daughters of preachers being wild and crazy are true. Children that grow up watching parents who are forced to be holier than though in front of their congregations and seeing what happens when those same parents inevitably relax or mess up at home generally become jaded. I was one of these types of preacher’s kids who lost their respect for their parents at a young age and picked his own much more hedonistic path instead.… read more “The Friendless”
