Sympathy comes from experience. When you have never had something happen to you, you have a difficult time emotionally relating to those who have had it happen. As all of my two readers probably know, I went through a painful breakup a while back. I really had no idea that it would hurt this much before it happened and now that it has, I have a much deeper appreciation for what some of my friends have gone through in the past.… read more “Sympathy”

Potential Biological Father
I met my potential biological father on Sunday and spent all day hanging out with him. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met and I had a great time talking to him and showing him around a little bit. I gave him a tour of the UW campus, went to eat at Cedar’s Indian restaurant, visited Gasworks park, ate dinner at Chipotle’s and finished up meeting his cousin and her friend at the U-district Lounge.… read more “Potential Biological Father”
Phone Problems
If you call me, always be sure to leave a message or I may not know that you called. I had called Melanie (the girl with the gorgeous house I hopefully may move in to) on Sunday and again yesterday to see if I could come out and meet her roommate and see if they were going to be okay living with a guy.… read more “Phone Problems”
C’mon baby… Crash!
I have been watching the real estate market for several years now and I think it’s become a bubble and will pop soon. The subprime loans market has already plunged and if interest rates continue to rise, other sectors will collapse as well. This will lead to massive foreclosures, which will in turn create a supply glut and prices will drop.… read more “C’mon baby… Crash!”
Does your dog love you?
I just read an interesting article in the NYTimes that tells you how to tell if you dog loves your or not by which direction his tail wags. If his tail wags right, he has positive feelings towards you and if it wags left he is uncomfortable/fearful.
The Midas Touch
One week ago I bought a million shares of stock in ATLJ for $.0022 ($2k) and sold it yesterday for $.0039 a share ($3.7k)… a gain of about 70%. Brilliant!

Old party
No, this is not SNL.
I went to the party at the old frat guys house tonight with Fletch and saw a bunch of old guys I knew. It was one of the saddest and most frightening things I’ve ever seen. I am so glad that I escaped that culture when I did. I left feeling horrified and have had nothing to do with it since until tonight, when I went to the party.… read more “Old party”
New Flicks
Fletch and I were working out today when he mentioned that the Seattle Public Library was having it’s annual book sale. Paperbacks are going for $.50, Hardbacks for a buck, VHS movies $2, DVDs $4…. all of which is extremely cheap, so I suggested we go and check it out. I bought a ton of new movies and now I’m going to have to buy a VHS player so i can actually watch them ;).… read more “New Flicks”
Crazy Weekend Plans
I haven’t had such strange weekend plans in awhile:
-Tonight, I’m going to an old friend’s birthday party in Greenlake where I am probably going to see a bunch of guys I know from the fraternities… strange. I haven’t seen them in a very long time and it’ll be weird being at a virtual frat party.… read more “Crazy Weekend Plans”
